Meet Monica

Monica plays a vital role at Bishop Grady Villas as a valuable member of the nursing care team. Her journey began almost five years ago when she joined Magnify as a volunteer and quickly transitioned into a direct support professional (DSP) for the residents. With a solid background of ten years as a Medical Assistant prior to her time at Magnify, Monica seamlessly integrated into her current role as the nursing assistant lead DSP just two years ago. This transition was a natural fit, offering a sense of familiarity and trust to the residents who already held Monica in high regard.

If a resident chooses to have Magnify assist in their medical needs, Monica works alongside residents, their families, and healthcare professionals. She takes pride in considering the overall well-being of individuals, and she excels in scheduling doctor appointments, checking medication cabinets and Electronic Medication Observation Records, and accompanying residents to medical appointments.

Donna, the dedicated in-house Registered Nurse at Bishop Grady Villas, praises Monica's outstanding contributions, stating, "Monica does a phenomenal job. The doctors and residents adore her.
