PROGRAMS

Horizons, our residential program, is designed to assist the individuals we serve in achieving their dreams. The support we provide includes supervision and training activities to assist our residents in acquiring, maintaining, or improving independent living skills.

Horizons, our residential program on the beautiful Bishop Grady Villas campus, offers limitless possibilities and encourages individuals to look forward to new opportunities and growth. We provide housing, individualized support, supervision, and training services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We have a person-centered approach to care and prioritize the unique needs and abilities of each individual we serve.

Our campus, located in St. Cloud, is full of love, laughter, and acceptance. Horizons represents a broadening of personal landscapes and provides a safe, nurturing base where our residents can thrive.

Our Horizons program is designed to address the needs of the entire person. By getting to know the individuals we serve, we can encourage them to use their God-given gifts to achieve greater independence, physical and emotional well-being, and spiritual growth.

Residents are guided through activities assisting them in developing, maintaining, and improving independent living skills, such as personal health and hygiene, social, employment, adaptive skills, and household management. Direct Support Professionals assist residents with the development and implementation of individualized plans of support. These plans provide opportunities for community integration and socialization including volunteer opportunities, shopping, recreation, social outings, and religious services.

A Message from our Founder

“Bishop Grady Villas reminds me of the Parable of the Mustard Seed. Christ-centered, the small seed has grown into a very large tree with many branches that reach out to so many people with disabilities.” Sr. Elizabeth Marie Stoup, SSJ
